The best salsa recipe!

We’ve tried a lot of salsas, and this is by far the best.

7 ingredients is all you need for fresh flavor!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 bunch cilantro, with stems, roughly chopped

  • *2 jalapeños, diced (optional)

  • 1 tsp. minced garlic (2 tsp. if not fresh)

  • 1 can (7.75 oz.) El Pato tomato sauce (yellow can)

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp pepper

  • 2 cans diced tomatoes

  • 3 green onions, diced

*The kick in this recipe comes from the El Pato sauce.

*If using jalapenos, be aware of the spice level. For a more mild heat, remove the seeds and membranes.

Directions:

Roughly chop the cilantro.

Add to a blender with garlic and jalapenos (if using). Blend for 5-10 seconds.

Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until desired consistency.

Serve as you like!

*If prepping for a weightlifting competition, you will want to account for the salt.
