The best salsa recipe!
Ingredients:
1/2 bunch cilantro, with stems, roughly chopped
*2 jalapeños, diced (optional)
1 tsp. minced garlic (2 tsp. if not fresh)
1 can (7.75 oz.) El Pato tomato sauce (yellow can)
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 cans diced tomatoes
3 green onions, diced
*The kick in this recipe comes from the El Pato sauce.
*If using jalapenos, be aware of the spice level. For a more mild heat, remove the seeds and membranes.
Directions:
Roughly chop the cilantro.
Add to a blender with garlic and jalapenos (if using). Blend for 5-10 seconds.
Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until desired consistency.
Serve as you like!
