2 Ingredient Salsa Chicken

Bring some flavor to your meal prep with this easy slow cooker meal.

Cook for 2-3 hours on high, 4-5 hours on low.

Ingredients:

  • 4-5 chicken breast

  • 1-1.5 cups of your favorite salsa

Directions:

  • Layer chicken breast on the bottom of a slow cooker.

  • Top with salsa. You want enough that your chicken is mostly covered.

  • Cook for 2-3 hours on high, or 4-5 hours on low. *This will depend on your slow cooker and the overall thickness of the chicken.

  • Check to see if the chicken is tender, internal temperature should be at 165.

  • Using two forks, shred the chicken and enjoy!


    You can use this salsa chicken several different ways. Goes great with tacos, burritos, on top of salads, as a base for enchiladas. Plenty of options to get you through the week!
