Grilled Chicken Nuggets *Chick-Fil-A Dupe

These homemade Chick-Fil-A style grilled chicken nuggets are a great option for meal prep!

the tangy and slightly sweet marinade brings out the juicy goodness of the chicken, without the high cost of eating out.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 1/4 cup pickle juice

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 1 tbsp. olive oil

  • 1 tbsp. honey

  • 1 tsp. paprika

  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a bowl or gallon size ziploc bag, mix together pickle juice, water, olive oil, honey, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  • Add the chicken pieces to the bowl, ensuring they are fully submerged in the marinade.

  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

  • Remove chicken from marinade and discard excess liquid.

3 ways to cook!

➡️ Grill chicken nuggets for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and grill marks appear.

➡️ Bake at 400°F for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper for easy clean up!

➡️ Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the marinated chicken nuggets in a single layer. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and has a golden crust.

Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce!
